NESTA FELIX - Executive Director-Founder & Coach:
Nesta Felix has been involved in coaching basketball immediately out of college. She first became involved with coaching mens basketball in 2002, which naturally opened up doors for the beginning of her collegiate coaching career at Monroe College in Bronx and New Rochelle. Felix was became motivated to have an impact on young ladies in sports while employed as the Coordinator of Student Life and Assistant Women's basketball coach at Monroe College in New Rochelle, NY. She has been involved in building leaders among youth and young adults young ladies since her college experience at Iona College in New Rochelle. She worked with the local YMCAs as Program Coordinator onsite and in various after school programs. It was almost inevitable that Felix would develop an organization that would serve to direct youth to becoming better individuals on and off the basketball court. In 2009, as part of her MBA thesis, Felix, officially incorporated the vision and NewFlex Youth Programs (at the time NewFlex Hoops Inc.) was born.
Ms. Felix has an MBA in Business and holds various certifications in management, project planning, and other.

MARIAN BOBIAN-Legal Advisor-Mentoring Programs
Marian Bobian has been a supporter of NewFlex's vision before the organization was officially established in 2008. She is the strength and order behind many of the strategic directions the organization has made. Ms. Bobian has a Masters in Public Administration. She serves on the board of ASPA, is the Founder of Act4Christ a mime and Drama Ministry, and is a play writer responsible for various local plays in her community. She is powerful in the performing arts and is a meticulous coordinator and events planner. Her intellect and precision has assisted in keeping the organization grounded. She often serves the youth via mentoring and arts throughout the year.
Khameelah Tomlin is a spirited young lady who is passionate about change and found herself involved in the development of the NewFlex mentoring program during her final year in undergraduate school. She became a natural with the youth and has contributed to the growth of the program. She is currently preparing for a law degree and serves as NewFlex's Historian, utilizing her organizational skills to manage program data and youth development.
Melcina Felix is one of NewFlex Youth Programs major financial and administrative contributors; regularly furthering the growth and development of NewFlex's mentoring operations. She has a long standing career in accounting, and also is a private practicing realtor. She currently serves as CFO of a major non-profit in the NYC area and still finds the time to aid in structuring and financially advising NewFlex's operations. Mrs. Felix advises on funding directions and provides day to day insight into opportunities for financial growth. A very significant contributor to NewFlex Youths financial position and financial programming. Jeffrey Donovan was a former Professor Of IT at Monroe College and was responsible for the Computer and Stock Competitions which he now supports for NewFlex Youth and the Community at large. He is passionate about serving others and is always eager to support charitable endeavors where youth are moving forward.
